My days often blend together in a blur of caregiving, cooking, and catering. It’s easy to get lost in the demands of others, constantly trying to fulfill everyone’s needs. But if I’m being honest, I’ve learned the hard way that putting myself last isn’t sustainable.

My tried-and-true recipe for a buttery and sandwich loaf that helps use up sourdough discard, but without the wait and hassle of traditional sourdough bread!

Sure, running a side-business is full of challenges, from balancing time and managing supplies to handling unexpected setbacks. But every early morning spent mixing dough, every batch of cookies pulled from the oven, and every satisfied customer who returns for more is a reminder of why I do this. The work is hard, but it’s my work, and that means everything.
